New 19.5" Displays with Edge-to-Edge Windows and PCAP Touch Screen Options

New 19.5″ Widescreen Panel Mount and Universal Mount Industrial Monitors from Hope Industrial Systems. All models have edge-to-edge windows, 1080p resolution, DisplayPort and DVI input connectors and include both AC and DC power input.

Hope Industrial Systems is excited to announce new versions of our widescreen 19.5″ Panel Mount and Universal Mount industrial monitors and touch screens. The new 19.5″ monitors feature an edge-to-edge flush front window that extends across the entire front of the display. Window options include our new multi-touch projected capacitive (PCAP) touch screen and food protection windows, as well as our single-touch resistive touch screen and strengthened glass windows.

These monitors now include standard DisplayPort and DVI-I digital video inputs and both AC and DC power connectors (10.8 to 26.4 VDC). Like all of our models, they feature 3rd-party NEMA 12/4 and 12/4/4X (IP65/IP66) environmental certification and include our industry-leading 5-year warranty.

Additionally, our Panel Mount units have been rated by UL for IP69/IP69K for close-range high-pressure, high-temperature spray wash-downs and hygienic cleaning. The new 19.5″ Panel Mount version has the same cutout size, making it a drop-in replacement for our former 19.5″ models. Check out the features below to learn more about the new 19.5” monitors.

19.5″ customers, please note the following considerations

A handful of customers may be affected by a few differences from our 19.5″ products:

If you want to plug a VGA cable into the new 19.5″ monitors, you will use an adapter, which we supply with every unit. The new 19.5″ monitors include digital input connectors (DVI-I and DisplayPort), allowing use of all modern video connections and formats. And because support for older systems is just as important, the DVI-I connector provides native VGA signals via the included locking VGA-to-DVI adapter.
The Universal Mount enclosure is slightly wider (.092″) and taller (.89″)
- It will not fit into the same mounting options as our former 19.5″ units
DC Power input range is now 10.8 VDC to 26.4 VDC (our former 19.5″ was 9.6 VDC to 36 VDC)

New multi-touch projected capacitive (PCAP) touch screen option for pinch and zoom, etc.
AC and DC power connectors are both included in the standard unit. Now, if you have both types of power in your factory you only need to stock one model.

Edge-to-edge flush front
- The touch screen or strengthened glass window extends across the entire front of the display and is protected by a strong, 0.19″ strip of 60D durometer urethane edge molding.
  - The edge molding eliminates collection of solids by its seamless integration with the front edge of the window.
  - A 20° slope of the edge molding prevents liquids from collecting on top.
  - There is no raised stainless or carbon steel bezel on the front, therefore there are no cracks or crevices on the front of the monitor for water or solids to collect.
