Product Description

The KVM Extender allows placement of an industrial monitor, keyboard, mouse and serial touchscreen up to 1000 feet away from the computer or server using a single CATx cable.

Using this system, an economical non-industrial computer can be placed in a secure, climate-controlled environment leaving only our rugged industrial flat panel monitors exposed to factory conditions.

The KVM extender is available in three configurations:

  1. Stand-alone KVM Extender - for use with HIS Panel Mount displays. Unit can be mounted behind the panel near the monitor. NEMA 1 rated.
  2. Rear-mount KVM Extender - for use with HIS Universal Mount displays. Extender is mounted in a modular NEMA 4/4X/12 enclosure which is attached to the rear of the display. All cables are routed through the KVM extender and hidden from sight.
  3. Pedestal-mount KVM Extender - for use with HIS pedestal mount solutions. KVM Extender is inserted into the pedestal where it is hidden and protected to the NEMA rating.
